What the Zwift Ride V2 does
The Zwift Ride V2's buttons trigger MyWhoosh actions through BikeControl. The Zwift Ride V2 (firmware 1.3 or newer) ships locked to Zwift and needs a daily unlock in the Zwift app before other apps can read it; BikeControl detects the firmware automatically and guides you through the unlock. A Zwift Ride on older firmware (no V2) needs no unlock at all.
Connection
MyWhoosh works with Network or Accessibility. Network: BikeControl reaches the app over your Wi-Fi, so it can run on a different device. Accessibility: BikeControl sends keyboard and touch input on the device it runs on, so it has to run on the same device as the app.

How to use Zwift Ride V2 with MyWhoosh

  1. Install BikeControl. Install BikeControl on iOS, Android, Windows or macOS — on the device that runs your trainer app, or on a phone or tablet next to it.
  2. Pair the Zwift Ride V2. Turn on the Zwift Ride V2 and pair it with BikeControl over Bluetooth.
  3. Select MyWhoosh. In BikeControl, select MyWhoosh as your trainer app.
  4. Connect BikeControl. Turn on Network or Accessibility in BikeControl. In MyWhoosh, open the Connection screen, tap the OpenBikeControl icon in the top right and confirm the popup.
  5. Ride. Start a ride in MyWhoosh. The Zwift Ride V2's buttons now shift and trigger the MyWhoosh actions you mapped.
