Controller

Zwift Click v2

Trainer app

Rouvy

Official partner

Does it work?

Yes

Natively, and through BikeControl

Rouvy reads the Zwift Click v2 without BikeControl. BikeControl adds your own button mapping, and the same controller in your other apps.

BikeControl maps the Zwift Click v2's buttons to Rouvy actions such as shift up and down and back, over Network, Bluetooth, or Local.

Frequently asked questions

Does the Zwift Click v2 work with Rouvy?
Yes. The Zwift Click v2's buttons trigger Rouvy actions through BikeControl. The Click v2 ships locked to Zwift and normally needs a daily unlock in the Zwift app; since BikeControl 6.4 you can skip it by using the right controller only. How does BikeControl connect to Rouvy?
Rouvy works with Network, Bluetooth, or Local. Network: BikeControl reaches the app over your Wi-Fi, so it can run on a different device. Local: BikeControl presses keys and taps on the device it runs on, so it has to run on the same device as the app.
Which platforms can I ride Rouvy on with BikeControl?
Rouvy on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Android, macOS, and Windows. Apple TV works over Network, with BikeControl on an iPhone, iPad, Mac or Windows PC. BikeControl itself runs on iOS, iPadOS, Android, Windows and macOS.

Yes, Rouvy supports the Zwift Click v2 natively. BikeControl is for when you want your own button mapping, several actions per button, or the same controller in other apps too.
Is the Zwift Click v2 as good in Rouvy as in Zwift?
The Zwift Click v2 was designed for Zwift, so it works best there. Rouvy is officially supported by BikeControl: shifting and the main controls work, but a few buttons have no Rouvy equivalent. BikeControl maps everything Rouvy supports.
Do I need BikeControl Pro?
Not to use the Zwift Click v2 with Rouvy. You can check that BikeControl works with your setup before you buy: the trial lasts 5 days with up to 80 controller actions a day (7 days on Windows, without a daily cap). After that you get 15 controller actions a day until you buy Base, a one-time purchase of about $4.99. Pro (about $2.50/month) adds three actions per button, use on all your platforms, and BikeControl's own virtual shifting, which you can try for 20 minutes a day, a daily trial of Pro.
