What the Zwift Ride V2 does
The Zwift Ride V2's buttons trigger Biketerra actions through BikeControl. The Zwift Ride V2 (firmware 1.3 or newer) ships locked to Zwift and needs a daily unlock in the Zwift app before other apps can read it; BikeControl detects the firmware automatically and guides you through the unlock. A Zwift Ride on older firmware (no V2) needs no unlock at all. Biketerra also supports the Zwift Ride V2 natively, without BikeControl; BikeControl adds its own button mapping on top.
