BikeControl 5.0 is one of the biggest updates since the very first release.

With this version, BikeControl Pro is officially launching — introducing a new app design, powerful new features, cross-platform licensing, cloud synchronization, and advanced button customization.

Most importantly:

Your existing purchase keeps almost all features.

If you already own the full/base version:

  • You keep all core functionality (controllers, trainers, keymaps, etc.)

Only one feature is now part of BikeControl Pro:

  • Device OS control

Everything else remains available at no additional cost.

BikeControl Pro adds additional functionality on top — and full/base version owners receive the first month of Pro for free.

Introducing BikeControl Pro

BikeControl Pro is designed for users who want more flexibility, automation, and cross-device integration - while supporting the ongoing development of the project.

Depending on your country, the subscription costs less than a coffee (around 2,50€/$ per month).

    In BikeControl you could only assign a single action (single click or long click) per controller button. With BikeControl Pro you can now individually configure single click, long press, and double click actions.

    • Single click → Shift gear
    • Long press → Steer
    • Double click → Trigger custom action

    Meaning your two-button devices can now support up to 6 different actions.

  • System command execution

    • Start any command or shortcut: (record screen video, open apps, automate workflows, and much more). Available on , , with limited support

New Features in 5.0

Even outside of Pro, version 5.0 includes major improvements:

  • Wahoo KICKR BIKE V1 & KICKR BIKE V2 Support for Wahoo KICKR BIKE V1 & KICKR BIKE V2 has been added

  • Bluetooth Media Buttons on iOS Media button devices are now supported on iOS.

  • Shimano Di2 Improvements

    • Long press and double click are now supported
    • Steering can be performed using long presses
    • Gear changes are reflected properly without losing button presses
